Calvary Minster
WHO WE ARE
Calvary Chapel Baptist Church
We are a group of dedicated individuals passionate about serving the Lord.
We believe the Holy Spirit draws men and women to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth, and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute.
OUR BELIEFS
We are united through Christ
We believe in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
God is the creator of the universe and giver of all that is good. God is the Savior—known boldly and intimately in Jesus and his life, death, and resurrection—who shows us how to live and love. God is the Spirit who enables us to make a difference in our world and in the lives of others. We believe that grace is the love, honesty, and compassion that God gives and shows us in Jesus. It’s how Jesus saves us, heals us, sets us free, and increases our capacity for love. We believe that we need each other. Whether single, married, divorced or widowed, it’s a lot easier to follow God with friends than it is by ourselves.
OUR VALUES
Our Three Main Goals
Commit
We believe that everyone is in need of salvation from sin. It is our desire that every individual who comes to our church would commit their lives to Jesus Christ. This is the first step of becoming a Christian. Without trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, there is no hope of building a Christian life.
Compassion
Jesus called us to go out and spread the Word of God. We make it a priority to go outside of the church walls to reach those who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. We hope that you will join us in showing compassion to the world around us.
Connect
We are called to join in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe that reaching out to the unsaved and engaging with them will strengthen our bond with each other through God. This happens as we connect through the local church!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Come as you are
We want you to come just as you are. When you walk through our doors you may see people in suits and ties, but you will also see people in jeans and t-shirts. We want to make sure when you visit, that you are welcomed and feel welcomed. As long as you come through our doors, we want to make sure you feel cared for and loved. If you ever need anything, always feel free to connect with us. We love to hear from our new visitors.

Robert Warnick
In September of 1990, I married my beautiful wife (who was saved at the age of 12), Anita Sweet. On October 12, 1995, I prayed and received Christ as my Savior. That Sunday I was baptized. After I was saved and baptized God blessed our marriage and in 1996 He gave us our beautiful daughter Alyse and our wonderful sons; Michael in 1998, and Connor in 2001, then in 2005 He gave us our beautiful daughter Emily.
My goal as Pastor of Calvary Chapel is to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ. We want to utilize every available biblical means, and we want to disciple and train every member to participate in accomplishing our church's purpose. The purpose of the church is summed up in the commission Christ gave His disciples just before He ascended to Heaven: "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen: (Matthew 28:18-20).
